People are made to be loved. Nature is made to be loved. Things are made to be useful and used.
But things are being loved. Nature is being abused. People are being used. That is why we're in such chaos.
How often have we heard, "we are what we eat"? An apple a day, keeps the doctor away? What about we are what we choose to do? Your daily dose of nature?
Maybe if more people took the time to listen to and watch the Canadian geese learn how to fly in formation against a sunlit morning sky or whistled to the birds building their homes and families in our neighborhoods, the humanitarian would surface and habits would change. But we're all different and we have to choose what we can do.
With all the talk about Climate Change and our disappointment with Canada's performance, CBC last night said that increased precipitation is human-caused warming - the duration of the precipitation is historic.
It's time for us to change our habits. If we all do a little, together, we can make a difference.
