The encyclical has aroused great interest from the time of its publication and this has continued. Indeed, Pope Francis’ encyclical has become the subject of many studies, conferences and new publications, illustrating its richness.... ....Historically, Christianity contributed to making a place for the human being at the heart of the pagan cultures of antiquity. It achieved this via the concepts of the human person and consciousness.
