Good day sisters and brothers,
       Here are some resources on Laudato Si' that range from very short summaries to in-depth considerations. Additionally there is the Development & Peace/Caritas Canada Stations of the Cross in which each station includes reflections from the bible and Laudato Si’ and /or Misericordiae Vultus. 
       Once again I must say that Laudato Si' is destined to become of major and increasing importance in how we live our Catholic faith i.e. our spirituality.

2. Very good & short summary (animation) by CAFOD (4 minutes 55 seconds)
3. Michael Perry, ofm Minister General, on Laudato Si' (4 minutes 18 seconds) 
4. This excellent overview could be shown as an introduction: Laudato Si' - A Canadian Response (35 minutes, produced by Kevin Moynihan, 2015) 
5. For a more in depth study, see the videos produced by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and Religions for Peace, in partnership with the Pontifical Council of Justice and Peace and the Pontifical Academy of Sciences: you can see them all here.
6. I recommend this guide: The Romans VI study guide Study Guide for Laudato Si' (The Interfranciscan Commission for Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation - Romans VI). 
7. I suggest that use of this study guide could be complemented by either:

• a. reading the encyclical found here and/or 
• b. watching the videos mentioned above or a series of 14 videos (most approx 20-30 minutes each; total duration 3 hrs 48 mins) on Laudato Si' by Dan Horan, ofm (Holy Name Province, USA) found here. Dan Horan, ofm is a young friar whose book The Franciscan Heart of Thomas Merton I found most interesting & strongly recommend. He is an interesting and effective teacher/communicator. Dan Horan will be our speaker at the Regional Council Eastern Canada Spiritual Retreat in August 2016.
