See Action Alerts and Spotlight. | On Holy Thursday Mass at the Santa Maria della Priwidenza centre in Rome, Pope Francis, in memory of Jesus, washed the feet of twelve people with disabilities: eight men and four women aged sixteen to eighty-six, all bar three of whom were Italian with one person of the Muslim faith among the three foreigners. He reminds us that this farewell and revolutionary gesture from Jesus to his apostles was chosen out of love for them, bidding them to be servants in love of all humankind in his memory. As we celebrated The Last Supper in His memory, so, we are also called to love one another and to serve each other with love. |
