The Real Easter Egg as it's called is made in the U.K. It seeks to break the modern mould by linking the chocolate egg to the real meaning of Easter and Jesus' mission. Each box comes with the Easter story. Sugar in these eggs comes from cooperatives in Paraguay and Beliz and the cocoa from cooperatives in the Ivory Coast, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, Peru, Panama and Equador. The chocolate itself is made in Belgium. The company gives a donation from profits and Fairtrade Premium fees to their farmers allowing them to invest in their community buying everything from school books and solar panels to providing fresh water.
