At the International Chapter in 2017, there was a presentation on Franz Jägerstätter by some people who were working on his cause for sainthood. It was by all counts a great presentation. He was a Secular Franciscan. Attached are the notes from the CIOFS website. The presentation was translated from the German. You may know the Franciscans as great preachers and humble servers, but do you know that we have our own intellectual tradition? For years we have made distinct contributions to Catholic theology.
